À l’initiativedu Muséed’Art moderne, CO-WORKERS se déploie sur deux lieux, selondeuxpropositions : Le réseau comme artiste à l’ARC et BeyondDisaster àBétonsalon - Centre d'art et de recherche.Dans un monde bouleversé par la troisième révolutionindustrielle,l’utilisation d’Internet et des supports de téléphoniemobiles aengendré un nouveau mode de communication lié à un fluxconstantd’informations. L’individu est à la fois indépendant etrelié à desréseaux multiples : professionnels, techniques,artistiques,culturels, au-delà de toute limite géographique. Cetteorganisationest symptomatique de ce que le sociologue Barry Wellmanappelle «l’individualisme connecté ».Ce qu’on nomme aujourd’hui The Internet of Things (l’Internetdeschoses), renvoie à l’idée que l’être humain n’est plus leseulsujet pensant mais que les objets qui l’entourent, composentunenvironnement intelligent qualifié d’AmbientIntelligence(Intelligence Ambiante).Au travers d’installations, de vidéos, de sculptures, depeintures,les artistes explorent cette complexité d’échanges quidépassel’échelle humaine.
